Talk to me
October 18th, 2006 byI once commented perhaps too briefly on the sin of Times New Roman (read all about it). That crime marked itself repeatedly on me over the years. The pain just wouldn’t go away.
Until now.
Did you know that in Google Talk you can set your font? And that font also applies to incoming messages? Which means I don’t have to read your lousy text in your stupid neon purple font no more?
I chat joyously now. It’s a pleasure once again. Ah, to type and see beautiful beautiful Trebuchet! Or the slight trembling curve of Tahoma! Let’s not forget the stern broad shoulders of Verdana. VERILY! This is joy.
Now, to convince all those people who I’ve been ignoring for years (it’s not you! just your stupid font!) to chat with me again.

First I’m glad you’ve finally finally updated and all it took was: me to leave, an online petition and north Korea to go nuclear.
That said, I think there is a bug in my code for the column format. Because either I’m seeing double or your post is appearing in both columns =)

akds, this post counts for two since it appears twice.
I’m done for 2006.

OMG the Cadillac replied to my comment! -Hey something has been on my mind for a while, if you’re the self-proclaimed Cadillac of the blog; What am I? A Datsun? Dear God, for that matter what is Shahid???!

okay. so let me get this straight. Waleed doesn’t post for months (years?), and when he does post, we get it TWICE. I think this is what they call “throwing them a bone.”
and yes, choosing your own font is one of the greatest joys in life..

I feel slighted, but honored. Waleed appears during my short term on this blog….and I feel like part of it is due to my online petition. I feel slighted because I’ve been bumped off the page. Though, if I am to be bumped….a Waleed article is definetly a worthy item to bump me. It does confirm that their IS a waleed.
