Apple G
November 28th, 2004 byI’m at work and they just placed a giant platter filled with rich deep red, flares of yellow orange red and distinct shades of green apples. It’s for all to eat. Why apples, why at 10:30AM, why 4 feet away from me, I don’t know. I’m new here.
But green apples have always been my favourite kind. They’re the most honest fruit out there. Bitter, sweet, delicious, juicy, crunchy, tough, delicate and with parts not edible, these apples reflect more of life then any other fruit I know.
Also, they’re great for throwing at/to siblings.
Honesty. It’s important stuff man.

throwing APPLES at siblings?! dude, they would do serious damage! I’d understand maybe throwing balls of socks (*ahem* not that I’ve done that lately..), but apples?
as my parents used to say to us.. why don’t I just give you two a couple of bricks!

I don’t know, man .. I would never throw my apple at anyone – if i had one. I wouldn’t throw it. Period.
But my mom sold her soul to Microsoft.
And oh. Salted. All the way.

December 5th, 2004 at 2:23 pm
blah! are you back in out-of-pakistan-land again? i sent you a text the other day. figured :p
btw mr, im rather offended by your comment about karachi being nicer than lahore. lahore has BETTER roads than khi, and that’s a given, simply cuz khi has so many roads you cannot possibly repair them all.
also, lahore has less pollution (industial and otherwise), lesser people, and better architechture.
AND we have history :p
all you guys got is a polluted sea. blah!

Seriously, I agree, green apples are the way to go. Good job, Waleed, I’m proud.
December 6th, 2004 at 2:14 pm
your blog hates me and won’t allow me to post comments. what IS this.
December 7th, 2004 at 12:52 pm
Man, Waleed, your comment box hates me, I swear. Everytime I come by and try to post a comment, it never shows up. My opinion is valid too, I promise! Anyway, green apples ARE the best. Good job, I’m proud.

December 8th, 2004 at 10:10 pm
Have I mentioned lately how much your comment box hates me? Only like a dozen times. Waleed, tell your blog it’s illegal to censor my comments like that.
December 9th, 2004 at 4:13 pm
I dunno about apples Waleed. I am a mango man myself.
And hemmie, you Lahoris with your better roads, and those Karachiites with so many of their roads, AND the ports, still go t nothing if you haven’t got the poollution free air of our Mirpur AJK.
Though Lahore has my PCBA, and Karachi has the sea-port where the vessels of my favorite employer make a call – nothing beats the city with one long road winding through it all…*gets all teary eyed remembering one of the only two round abouts in his city.*

Waleed, have I mentioned lately how your weblog always censors my comments? YEAH.

I used to be a big fan of Granny Smith apples (to which I believe you refer), but that was many years ago. Nowadays, I stick with Fujis.
