dizzy minds and twisted perception
January 24th, 2004 byI made a list of all the things I had forgotten. The blank paper sits heavily in my pocket. I open it and read it carefully, memorizing each line and making corrections along the way. I put the blank paper back in my pocket.
Thoughout history, everytime man over-boasted of his strength, God sent the tiniest of murmurs to break him up. The army of elephants crushed by mere birds. Insha-allah, Yajuj and Majuj will be brought down by the aid of tiny insects. A tiny virus, having brought me down to my knees.
I have the flu.
Subhan-allah walhamdulilah wallah-ukbar!

Oy, such over-dramatization. I thought perhaps you were planning to take over the world with a computer virus or something, not moaning about the flu.
Feel better.

ha, Owl called you a wussy… *cracks up*
Sorry… You’re sick, so I’ll stifle my –hehe– laughter.
*ahem* as I was saying, I demand that you feel better soon.
Though the demand is more of a request, really.
Well, not so much a request, more so a prayer.
May Allah restore your health and invigorate your soul.
(I think I salvaged that comment quite well, from laughing at you to praying for you. *pat on the back* for me.)

Feel better soon, nerd child. And (as usual, you see), I’m a bit confused. This blank paper – it contains an invisible list, or what? Or how does that work?
p.s. Good job with the comment, Anju. Ameen to the du’a.
