An ode to yourself
October 31st, 2003 bySometimes, all you need to hear is a good voice.
Then again, sometimes, all you need to hear is your own voice. A self thought said out loud, a reassurance you didn’t think you needed till you heard it. From your own self. A letter mailed out blindly, unknowingly. Received surprisingly, thankfully.
Sometimes, all you need is to believe in yourself.
Speak to yourself. And try to listen for once.

I talk to myself and all I hear is the wind whooshing between my ears.

talking to myself takes up half my time. talking myself out of stuff takes up the rest of it.
