reese minus the p.b.
July 27th, 2003 byAdnan just got done watching Legally Blonde. Overall, he liked it.
Me, I have a different opinion.
It’s not her, Reese Witherspoon, who I have a bone with. I think she’s a great actress. Her work in Sweet Home Alabama was so wonderful that it actually hepled make the movie a great fun to watch. A used story, made worth watching again thanks to the cast, director and a plot not overdone.
But I can’t believe they made a sequel to Legally Blonde.
Somethings are too much the first time.
Here’s a toast, to all those who hear me all too well.

my friend, you fail to explain why your opinion differs from mine.
you say that problem wasn’t with Witherspoon, but you forget to mention what your problem was with the Legally Blonde movie.
I will however explain what I did like about the movie.
The tone of the movie was set early on. So that if this wasn’t your “type” of movie, then you could have stopped watching. But I shall assume that you saw the full movie.
It’s about a girl who perhaps for the wrong reasons makes a rash decision (law school), and by doing so she discovers something more about herself. All the while not losing who she really is.
It’s a feel good movie, and leaves you feeling good. Which I think was the idea.
Now your turn to explain yourself. And “it was blonde” is not an acceptable explaination.

I’ll further explain my position.
Sometimes you likea movie because you think it’s good entertainment value.
Spider-man is one such case. It won’t win an oscar, I really didn’t come out of it thinking about the themes and what not. I wasn’t critically analyzing it. I just enjoyed it.
Same thing with Legally Blonde. I think it was a movie that can be enjoyed.

I liked Legally Blonde. Not the second one though. They’re just feel-good movies.
