Right.
It would be smarter to assume that people are stupid unless they prove themselves otherwise.
Case in point: as I was walking through the park today, I overheard a woman say, “Wow, it smells like trees.”
Intelligence abounds.

I’m an optimist hippie and I used to believe that all people are generally good and kind. They’re not. Hmmm. I forget how I figured that out.
It would be smarter to dislike everybody.
