Dancing in the moonlight

If there’s one thing that people need to stop doing, it’s sugar coating their words and using euphemisms.

I can see right through flattery, and rather than calm me down and “encourage” me (that’s the intended purpose after all), it does not. Instead it irritates me even more.

The truth is appreciated. The truth disguised is not.

How hard is that for people to understand?

But can’t you try to understand why people do that? They’re just trying to be nice, right?
